Service Canada Community Visit at Inuvik Native Band

Service Canada representatives will be at the Inuvik Native Band on August 11, 2026, offering in-person help with SINs, benefits, pensions, EI, passports and other federal services.

Service Canada representatives will be in Inuvik on August 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Inuvik Native Band, 190 Kingmingya Road. Community members are invited to stop by for in-person help accessing a range of federal programs and services.

During the visit, representatives can provide assistance with Social Insurance Numbers (SIN), the Canadian Dental Care Plan, Canada Disability Benefit, Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), Employment Insurance, passport services, and My Service Canada Account.

Anyone seeking help with an existing CPP, OAS, GIS, Canadian Dental Care Plan or Employment Insurance file, or with address and direct deposit updates, should know their SIN number and bring valid government-issued photo identification. Photo ID is required for all services for anyone over 18 years of age.

Those applying for a SIN should bring the appropriate identification documents. People born in Canada should bring a birth certificate, while those born outside Canada should bring applicable documents such as a Permanent Resident Card, Confirmation of Permanent Residence, citizenship certificate, work permit or study permit.
