Join us at the Inuvik Native Band Hall for a special Summer Atikluk-Making Workshop—a hands-on opportunity to learn how to create your own traditional atikluk, perfect for the warmer months.

This workshop is a chance to practice sewing skills, connect with culture, and take home a beautiful handmade garment. Whether you're new to sewing or looking to refresh your skills, you'll be guided step-by-step through the process in a supportive and welcoming environment. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

Participants will also learn about the cultural significance and practical design of atikluks, which have long been a part of northern Indigenous tradition.

Priority will be given to new learners
